Application submission for Elections Commission (EC) membership opened on Wednesday.
Applications have been initiated as the tenure of commission member Amjad Musthafa comes to an end on 24th of November 2019.
The President's Office said interested candidates should apply for the post before 2:00 pm Monday afternoon. The application forms are available from the President’s Office and it's website.
The Commission tasked with organizing and overseeing all elections held in Maldives consists of five members. The current members in addition to Amjad are Ahmed Shareef, Ismail Habeeb, Ahmed Akram, and Ali Nashaath.
