Country Representative of UNICEF Dr. Munir Safieldin paid a courtesy call on First Lady Fazna Ahmed on Tuesday.
During the call, discussions were held addressing the issue of young people’s mental health and mental well-being, promoting tranquillity and well-being of children living in State homes, and advocating for better conditions for children in detention.
First Lady Fazna Ahmed and Dr Safieldin also discussed ways to expedite the passing of the Juvenile Justice Bill and Child Rights Protection Bill into law.
