First Lady Fazna Ahmed has tested positive for Covid-19.
According to the President's Office, the First Lady has self-isolated herself following the positive result and remains in good health.
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, their son and daughter tested negative for COVID-19.
Madam Fazna's sister, Nazeeha Ahmed and her husband, Police Commissioner Mohamed Hameed have also tested positive for the virus.
