MTCC has commenced launch ferry services between Ha. Kelaa and HDh. Kulhudhufushi.
The inauguration ceremony was held at Ha. Kelaa on Saturday.
Speaking at ceremony, CEO of MTCC Hussain Shah noted that ferries must be updated in order to enhance ferry services, in addition to expanding services to cater to more islands.
Ferry services will be available in Kelaa, Vashafaru, Filadhoo, Baarah and Hanimadhoo, and will operate every week on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. The ticket prices range between MVR 75 to MVR 250.

6:30 - Kelaa to Vashafaru
6:45 - Vashafaru to Filadhoo
7:00 - Filadhoo to Baarah
7:15 - Baarah to Hanimadhoo
7:30 - Hanimadhoo to Kulhudhufushi

2:30 - Kulhudhufushi to Hanimadhoo
2:55 - Hanimadhoo to Baarah
3:10 - Baarah to Filadhoo
3:25 - Filadhoo to Vashafaru
3:40 - Vashafaru to Kelaa
Tickets must be purchased one day ahead of the intended date of travel, said MTCC. The ticketing office will be open from 8:00 am to evening 10:00 pm every day, said MTCC.
