A plot of land has been arranged for Bank of Maldives (BML) to construct an office building in Hulhumale'.
Hulhumale' Development Corporation (HDC) said on Wednesday that a plot of land had been arranged for the national bank to allow the bank to expand its services in the reclaimed suburbs.
The agreement was signed by the Managing Director of HDC Suhail Ahmed and CEO of BML Timothy Sawyer.
Under the agreement, the building will be constructed within five years.
The land was given from Hulhumale' Phase One in the area south of Central Park, adjacent to Amin Avenue. The size of the plot was not revealed.
