A man is in serious condition after sustaining injuries in a dangerous road accident that occurred in Fuvahmulah City late Monday night.
Police said a speeding motorcycle lost control while going over a speed breaker around 11.50 pm near Fuvahmulah Stadium. The motorist sustained serious injuries in the incident, and has still not regained consciousness, said the police.
The 26-year old man is being treated in the intensive Care Unit of Fuvahmulah Hosptal. Arrangements are underway to transport the victim to capital Male'.
