Pres appoints Aisha Shujoon Mohamed to JSC

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has appointed Aisha Shujoon Mohamed as a member of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC). Aisha Shujoon was sworn in as a member of JSC at a function held at the President’s Office Sunday morning.

President Solih made the appoint as per Article 158 (b) of the Constitution of the Republic of Maldives and Article 3 (2) of the Judicial Service Commission Act. Her Oath of Office was administered by Supreme Court Justice Dr. Azmiralda Zahir.

Aisha Shujoon Mohamed was appointed to the JSC as the member representing the Supreme Court. She was appointed as a Justice of the Supreme Court on September 4, 2019.
