The terminal that was established for tourists in the Fishermen's Park is handed over to the Male’ City Council.
The terminal was handed over by Managing Director of the Maldives Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC), Adam Azim, in a ceremony held at the park today. The terminal was completed by MWSC as a CSR project.
The terminal has 8 state-of the art bathrooms with shower plus toilets. Besides, there will be an information desk at the terminal.
Azim said that the bathrooms were completed in three months. This is for the convenience of cruise liners that travel the Maldives. He further added that such CSR projects will be carried out in the future as well.
The Male’ City Council has designated the Fishermen’s Park especially for tourists. Hence, bathrooms and a guest relations office including a waiting area for the guests is developed in the terminal.
