The Ministry of Planning and Infrastructure has awarded contracts of six islands harbour project.
The contracts are awarded on Adh. Dhidhdhoo, R.Rasgetheem, Sh.Feydhoo, K.Himmafushi, Sh.Foakaidhoo and Hannameedhoo harbour projects on a ceremony held in the ministry today (Sunday).
Dhidhdhoo and Rasgetheem's project is awarded to Heavy Force Private Limited. The contract is signed by Managing Director, Ibrahim Zameer on behalf of the Heavy Force Limited and Director General, Fathimath Shana Farooq on behalf of the ministry.
Dhidhdhoo's project is to be completed within 300 days for a contract price of MVR 22 million. Rasgetheem's project is to be completed within 420 days for a contract price of MVR 50 million.
The projects of other 4 islands is awarded to Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC). The contract is signed by CEO Shahid Hussain Moosa on behalf the MTCC and Director General, Fathimath Shana Farooq on behalf of the ministry.
Feydhoo's project is to be completed within 480 days for a contract price of MVR 33 million. Himmafushi's project is to be completed within 365 days for a contract price of MVR 25 million.
Foakaidhoo's project contract price is MVR 56 million. Hannaameedhoo's project is to be completed within 300 days for a contract price of MVR 32 million.
