A man in critical condition is being treated at IGMH ICU who got severely injured in the accident that occurred colliding a speedboat and a dingy.
The Police Media Official told AVAs, the victim is the captain of the speedboat. He further added that two passengers on the dingy have some injuries; however, their condition is not severe and an expatriate crew member of the speedboat as well has got injured.
The Officer said that the severely injured person was initially treated at Baa Atoll Hospital and has been transferred to Male’ for further treatment.
It is known that there is a severe cut on his face, one of his arms and a finger is fractured as well as a nerve of his tongue is damaged. Thus far, there is no word of IGMH regarding the case.
One of the men on the dingy is still missing in the incident. The search for him is ongoing on a large scale by the Police and MNDF collaboratively using all the available resources. The missing person is Nasrullah Abdulla (41-year-old), Musthareege’ from B.Eydhafushi.
It has been three days since Nasrullah is missing. Nevertheless, there is no sign of him and neither the dingy he was in when the accident occurred.
