Arrangements have been made that court-ordered payments can be paid to any court in the Maldives.
Department of Judicial Administration (DJA) on Thursday announced via a circular that any payments due to be paid under any court orders or sentence issued by any branch of the courts will be accepted by any legal courts in Maldives, in addition to DJA. Any deposits or payments for services offered by the courts will also be accepted in the same manner, said DJA.
In the past, payments are only accepted at the court that issued the order or fine. The new change now makes the payment of any due amounts more convenient.
