Three people who were drinking, and involved in the trade of alcoholic beverages have been arrested at a restaurant in Male' City.
Maldives Police Services stated that they received notice of the matter around 8:50 AM on Sunday, upon which they immediately arrived on site. Police further stated that a great number of alcoholic beverages were found in their searched bags.
Those arrested were two Maldivians aged 34 and 50, and a Sri Lankan man aged 38. The matter is currently under Police investigation.
