An outdoor camp of Maldives is launched in the three main cities of China.
Maldives Marketing and PR Corporation (MMPRC) said that under this camp the beautiful sceneries of the Maldives will be displayed in Beijing office buildings and in outside of five shopping malls through 2000 led screens.
The services available in Maldives hospitality industry is displayed in the seven led screens kept in the Shanghai’s busiest metro station that around 1.5 thousand people travel to and fro in a day.
- To promote the Maldives in China two fairs and two roadshows are planned for this year. In addition, and there will be digital media campaigns targeted at the market. Even last year there were many marketing activities held in China, said MMPRC. Last year 284373 tourists visited the Maldives from Chin and still tops tourist visitors to the Maldives.
- As per the Ministry of Tourism’s statistics 1.7 million tourists visited the Maldives last year.
