MasterChef Maldives title sponsor: DHIRAAGU

DHIRAAGU has become the title sponsor of the largest franchise cooking show, the “MasterChef”, Maldives.

In the agreement-signing ceremony held in the Television Maldives (TVM), the CEO and Managing Director of DHIRAAGU Ismail Rasheed said that the company became the title sponsor of the show because it works for the national interest.

“DHIRAAGU considers what the public will gain from our associations. looking into that aspect, the show will benefit many youths, to learn the cooking skills, that will, in turn, make them employable especially in the tourism industry”, said Ismail.

He said that chefs get the highest salary in the tourism industry and that this will lead to creating opportunities for the locals.

“We took title sponsorship of the Maldivian Idol for the public entertainment. In this programme also there is a competitive element and entertainment element”, said Ismail.

In addition to DHIRAAGU, three co-sponsors have been assigned in the ceremony held on Saturday night. They are; Bank of Maldives (BML), Villa College and State Trading Organization (STO).

According to Public Service Media, the sponsors will get plentiful opportunities from overseas within the show. The first season of MasterChef Maldives will be on-aired in September. However, before that there will be the audition and of the selection of the judges.

The MasterChef is one of the popular cooking shows of the World. The show is produced in 62 countries and the Maldives is the 63rd country that produces the show. The show will exhibit the local cuisines to the World.
