The former Managing Director of Allied Insurance, Ahmed Ameel has been appointed as the Managing Director of Dhivehi Insurance.
According to Dhivehi Insurance, Ameel has been appointed as the Managing Director following its founder, Abdul Wahid Thaufeeq's appointment as the Chairman of the company.
Chairman Wahid said that with the new changes that are brought, the company now has the most capable employees among the insurance companies of the Maldives. Wahid said the company employs 100% locals and that they will always work for training Maldivians in the area of insurance.
Ameel and Wahid have more than 24 years of experience in the field of insurance of the Maldives and both of them have worked as Managing Director of the main insurance company, Allied Insurance.
