Judicial Service Commission (JSC) will be investigating an additional disciplinary issue involving Drug Court Judge Adam Arif. The commission made the decision on Thursday.
The commission did not reveal details of the case under investigation. However, they confirmed that a committee had been established to investigate the case.
Arif was once in charge of the Criminal Court. He has also lead the state prosecution teams in many high-profile cases in the past. His transfer to the Drug Court from the Criminal Court had been very sudden.
JSC is also investigating another disciplinary case involving the judge. The commission has not revealed the status of the investigation.
