Additional 43 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the Maldives.
Health Protection Agency revealed that 10 Maldivians, 28 Bangladeshi nationals and an Indian national have tested positive for the infection on Wednesday. This brings the total number of infected cases to 1186, including 91 recoveries and four fatalities.
Among the people who contracted the illness, 424 are locals, 609 Bangladeshi nationals, 112 Indian nationals, 16 Nepali nationals, 6 Sri Lankan nationals, and 3 Pakistani nationals.
