Maldives Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) has granted additional time for customers to settle overdue bills.
As per an announcement published by MWSC, several customers are not making use of the debt relief programme offered by the company. MWSC introduced the programme last December to assist customers that have difficulty in settling due payments.
MWSC said the programme has now been extended until March 17, 2021. Customers who make use of the programme will not have to pay the overdue fines and payment can be settled in monthly instalments. MWSC urges its customers who are having difficulties in settling the bills due to the COVID-19 pandemic to make use of the opportunity provided by the company.
