Court order issued to test two individuals for COVID-19

A Civil Court order has been to take samples of two people who refused to provide samples for COVID-19 testing.

An order issued by the Civil Court on Wednesday night said the court orders the two people to provide samples for testing and instructed the police and relevant authorities to implement the order.

The court has issued orders for some people to be tested for COVID-19 previously as well, and some have been placed in quarantine, some of whom were foreigners.

As a measure to contain the spread of the virus, the authorities have been testing people who are suspected of having been infected with the disease.

Over 2000 people have tested for the illness including eight fatalities. The Health Protection Agency revealed earlier that the rate of recoveries is higher than the infection rate. As of Wednesday, a total of 1839 people have recovered from the virus.
