Emirates Airline has announced it is expanding its cargo services to multiple destinations including the Maldives.
Emirates has already announced the airline will be resuming operation to the Maldives when it reopens its orders on July 15. The airline said cargo flights will fly to 100 global destinations including Maldives across 6 continents. The flights include both scheduled and charter flights, said the airline.
Emirates said cargo flights will help revive the struggling economies of countries, and will facilitate timely delivery of health equipment required by countries during the COVID-19 pandemic. The cargo services are served by the Emirates Boeing 777-F aircraft and 777-300ER.
