Spokesperson of the National Health Operations Centre, HEOC, Dr. Nazla Rafeeq has been quarantined after being in direct contact with a COVID positive patient.
Dr. Nazla said a family member tested positive for the virus, and that she had been in direct contact with the relative. Therefore, she is currently in home quarantine, said the doctor. She added that she feels well and that she would continue to relay information to the public from home.
Dr. Nazla plays an active role in updating the medias and the public on the COVID-19 situation in the Maldives.
