The new High Commissioner-designates of Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Pakistan presented their credentials to President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih at separate ceremonies held on Monday.
The president spoke with Vice Admiral Ather Mukhtar (Retd) of Pakistan, Rohana Bedagge of Sri Lanka and Bangladesh’ Rear Admiral Nazmul Hassan following the ceremonies held at the President’s Office. The strengthening of bilateral relations between Maldives and the respective countries were discussed during the meetings.
