Parks will be developed in 10 northern islands with the assistance of the Indian government.
Youth Minister Ahmed Mahloof in a tweet published on Saturday said parks will be developed across 10 islands under a grant aid extended by India. In this regard, the parks will be developed in HDh. Naavaidhoo, Sh. Uligamu, Feevah, Komandoo, Noomaraa, Bilehfehi and Feydhoo as well as N. Maafaru and Fodhdhoo. However, the project commencement date was not announced.
The government has previously tasked several companies with the development of parks in many islands.
