The Maldives recorded 19 positive cases of COVID-19 on the last day of the year. The country’s tally is now at 13,757.
The Health Protection Agency (HPA) Thursday said 14 cases were identified in the Greater Male’ Region while five cases were identified in the atolls. 2,455 tests were conducted in the 24 hours preceding 6 pm on Thursday.
While 561 cases of COVID-19 are active in the Maldives, 48 deaths have been recorded to date. The total number of recoveries recorded until now is at 13,141. 27 people are currently hospitalised.
