A minor injured in a collision between a motorcycle and a pickup in HDh. Kulhudhuffushi earlier this month has passed away.
AVAS has learnt that the 17 year old identified as Zayan Abbas underwent a surgery following the accident, and was discharged from the hospital post-surgery. However, his condition deteriorated after which he was admitted in the Intensive Care Unit where he eventually passed away.
The details of his injuries are unknown, and the hospital has not commented on the case.
