Over 92 percent of police workforce have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
The Commissioner of Police, Mohamed Hameed Tuesday said 92 percent of those working at Maldives Police Service, including civilian staff and police officers have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The commissioner added that the police DNA Laboratory at Forensic Services passed its first WHO Global Round of Laboratory Proficiency Testing for the Detection of SARS-CoV-2 by PCR.
Vaccination of the police workforce is being carried out by the police Medical Board.
