HPA urges public to get COVID-19 shot ahead of Ramadan

The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has urged the public to get their COVID-19 vaccine shots ahead of the Holy month of Ramadan.
The 30-day Holy period will begin on April 13 this year. The hours during which the vaccines will be administered will be limited during Ramadan.

An announcement issued by HPA said it urges those who have not received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine from the Greater Male’ Area to get their shots as soon as possible. Those receiving the vaccine during the ongoing second round of inoculations will be getting the Sinopharm shot. The second and final dose of the vaccine will be administered four weeks after the administration of the first dose.
