Travelers from Eydhafushi asked to quarantine

Those who traveled to any island from B. Eydhafushi have been asked to quarantine themselves.

A COVID-19 outbreak has been identified in Eydhafushi with over 37 cases recorded on the island.

The Health Protection Agency has asked those who traveled to islands from Eydhafushi since 1st April to report to their nearest health centers or hospitals at the earliest. Those who traveled from Eydhafushi after this date have been asked to quarantine themselves for ten days from the date they arrived at their destination.

Those who have traveled to capital Male' from Eydhafushi have been asked to test themselves at the Flu Clinics located in Male', Hulhumale' and Villimale'. They should remain in quarantine for ten days from the date they arrived at their destination, and share information regarding their trip with the HPA hotline even if their results come back negative, said HPA.
