The Maldives recorded a new COVID-19 death on Sunday.
The Health Protection Agency (HPA) said an 80-year-old Maldivian female who was receiving treatment at Baa Atoll Covid Facility passed away at 6:36 am. This is the 258th COVID-19 death in the Maldives.
While the Maldives has recorded 93,064 positive cases to date, 1933 cases are active at this time. Fifteen patients are admitted at hospitals.
