COVID-19: Over 1000 cases in four days; tally at 28,202

The Maldives on Monday recorded 328 cases of COVID-19.

According to the Health Protection Agency, 167 cases were identified in the Greater Male' Region while 127 cases were recorded n the atolls. 10 cases are from local resorts, and 24 are from industrial islands. The archipelago's tally has now reached 28,202.

3,701 cases are active at this time, out of which 126 people are hospitalized. 71 deaths have been recorded to date, and 24,421 people have recovered from the illness.
