COVID-19: Maldives records its highest single-day tally so far

The Maldives on Wednesday recorded 464 cases of COVID-19, the archipelago's highest single-day tally so far.

According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), 207 cases were identified in the Greater Male' Region while 146 cases were identified from the atolls. A further 14 cases were identified in local resorts, and 93 cases in industrial islands. The country's tally is now at 29,052.
