Male' City Council has launched a program to disinfect the streets of the capital.
The disinfection program was inaugurated by Male' City Mayor Dr. Abdulla Muizzu on Saturday morning. The program kicked off with one of the busiest streets of Male', the local market area being disinfected. The mayor said the busiest areas will be disinfected first, which include market and ferry terminal areas. All streets of Male' will be covered under the program.
The program was undertaken on the request of the Health Protection Agency (HPA) and the Health ministry.
