The Health Emergency Operation Centre (HEOC) has stated that 11 COVID-19 patients are currently on ventilator support.
197 COVID-19 patients are currently hospitalized, out of which 110 individuals are admitted at the Hulhumale' Medical Facility. Nine patients at the facility are in the Intensive Care Unit, and five are on ventilator support.
According to HEOC, eight patients are admitted at the DH11 ICU facility established in Dharumavantha Hospital for COVID-19 patients in serious condition. Six patients at the facility are on ventilator support. Additionally, six patients are admitted at DH16 and two are in DH17, as well as five patients in IGMH's Hiyala Wing and five at the hospital's Private Ward. 26 patients are admitted at Hulhumale' Hospital.
The Maldives has recorded 171 COVID-19 deaths to date. The archipelago reported 88 COVID-19 deaths in May and 11 deaths have been recorded over the last 48 hours.
