The Maldives recorded a COVID-19 death early Sunday morning.
The Health Protection Agency (HPA) said a 77 year old Maldivian female admitted at DH11 passed away at 01:52am. This is the country's 11th COVID-19 death.
The Maldives have 2,435 confirmed cases of COVID-19 to date. While over 2000 patients have recovered, the number of active cases is 389.
