An arrest has been made in connection to an assault that took place in Ha. Hoarafushi.
The police said the incident took place on the northern island on Thursday around 2:15 pm when a man was attacked using a sharp object. A 43-year old local linked to the case has been arrested and remanded into custody for 15 days.
The police did not provide further details and said the investigation is ongoing.
