President appoints two State Ministers

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Tuesday appointed Khadeeja Naseem as the Minister of State for Environment, Climate Change and Technology, and Ahmed Afzal Ibrahim as the Minister of State for Transport and Civil Aviation.

Khadeeja Naseem holds a Master of Environment from the University of Melbourne, Australia. She has over 8 years of experience working in international organizations, NGOs and various government agencies. Prior to this appointment, Khadeeja Naseem served as the Environment and Climate Specialist at the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology.

Ahmed Afzal Ibrahim attained his Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons) in Mobile Computing from the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology in Malaysia. He has several years of experience in the field from his previous posts working for the Government and the private sector. Before this appointment, he served as the Minister of State for Environment, Climate Change and Technology.
