A man has been hurt in an assault that took place in Male' City.
According to the police, they received reports of a physical altercation between two individuals on Saturday night. The injured person was taken to state-run Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) for treatment. His condition is not serious.
The police said although it has been rumored that a sharp object was used to attack the man, no such objects were used.
