Dh. Kudahuvadhoo has been placed under the Health Protection Agency (HPA)'s monitoring status after a positive COVID-19 case linked to the island was identified.
Entry and exit from Kudahuvadhoo were restricted after a Male' resident who traveled to the island for the Eid holidays tested positive for the virus upon return to Male'. HPA said contact tracing is ongoing and that the island will be under monitoring in the meantime.
12 islands including Kudahuvadhoo are currently under HPA monitoring.
