HPA asks those who traveled to Kudahuvadhoo to report to health centres

The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has requested anyone who traveled to the atolls from HDh. Kudahuvadhoo since February 26th to report to the nearest hospital or health center. The authority made the announcement after positive cases of COVID-19 were identified in Kudahuvadhoo.

According to HPA, six staff who work at Kudahuvadhoo Airport tested positive for COVID-19. The island is currently under HPA’s monitoring mechanisms in order to investigate the cases.

HPA has instructed anyone who has traveled to Kudahuvadhoo since February 26 and traveled back to complete a quarantine period of 14 days from their date of return. Sample collection for COVID-19 testing will be arranged from island health centers or hospitals, said HPA.
