The Maldives on Saturday recorded two new COVID-19 deaths.
According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), a 93-year-old local male admitted at Dh. Kudahuvadhoo Atoll Hospital passed away at 07:10 am. Later at 08:28 am, a 92-year-old from Ha. Thuraakunu was declared dead.
This increases the Maldives' toll to 253.
