Temporary shelter provided to families affected in HM fire

The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has provided temporary shelter to two families that were affected in Monday night's fire incident.

The incident took place in second floor apartment in building 147 in reclaimed suburbs Hulhumale' around 7:00 pm on Monday night. Two other apartments on the third floor were affected in the fire, and suffered damages.

NDMA said 13 people from two families are in need of assistance, and have been provided temporary shelter and food.
