Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said the construction of Sh. Bilehfahi Harbour is ongoing at a fast pace.
MTCC Tuesday said the first shipment of rock boulders required for the breakwater construction of Sh. Bilehfahi Harbor were delivered to the project site on 28 September. The scope of the project include 9800 cubic meter channel dredging, 14325 cubic meter harbor dredging, construction of a 1150 square meter pavement, 01 ramp, a 376-meter breakwater, a 98-meter key wall, 05 mooring blocks and 22-meter groyne. The agreement also consists of the installation of 2 navigation lights and 11 harbor lights.
The value of the project is MVR 28.42 million.
