Kunburudhoo Coastal Protection awarded to MTCC

ADh. Kunburudhoo's Coastal Protection project has been contracted to Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).

The project agreement was signed on Wednesday at a ceremony held at the Planning Ministry. The Planning Ministry's Permanent Secretary, Zeeniya Hameed signed the agreement on behalf of the ministry and Chief Operating Officer of MTCC, Shahid Hussain Moosa signed the document on behalf of the company.

The scope of the project include dredging the harbour area, construction of a 170-meter revetment, a 57-meter quay wall, a 9-meter ramp, a 250-square meter pavement, and installation of lights at the harbor area. The value of the project is MVR 9.61 million. As per the agreement, the project must be completed within 150 days.
