Male' City Council is seeking Saudi Arabia's assistance in developing the capital city.
The discussions took place in a meeting between Male' City Mayor Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to the Maldives, Matrek Abdullah Al-Ajalin Aldosari.
During the meeting, the mayor gave information on planned and ongoing projects in Male' City, and the assistance required. He also discussed areas of mutual interest with the ambassador.
Saudi Arabia has always provided assistance in developing the Maldives. The Kingdom most recently provided assistance for the Airport Development Project, and building King Salman Mosque in Male' City,
