Vice President of the Maldives, Faisal Naseem has been admitted at Dharumavantha Hospital.
Spokesperson for the President's Office, Mabrook Abdul Azeez said the vice president was taken to the state-run hospital after falling ill, and is in currently in stable condition. No further details were shared.
VP Faisal was admitted at the same hospital earlier in February this year due to high fever.
