A three-month old infant has succumbed to COVID-19 in the Maldives.
An official from GDh. Thinadhoo's Abdul Samad Memorial Hospital said a three-month-old baby boy passed away on Sunday while receiving treatment at Thinadhoo Covid Facility. This is the seventh COVID-19 death of the month, and the 239th death in the Maldives.
The Maldives recorded 77 news COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours. Out of these, 25 cases were identified from the capital city, Male'.
