A 24-year-old man has passed away in a motor accident in southernmost Addu City.
The accident occurred early Monday morning when a speeding motorcycle lost control and hit a wall. The driver sustained massive injuries to his head, and to other parts of his body.
Addu Equatorial Hospital said the man had already passed away when he was brought to the hospital. The police have not commented on the accident.
