The first ambassador of the Maldives' border miles program arrived in the Maldives on Friday.
Former Liverpool FC and Newcastle United defender Jose Enrique was appointed as the Brand Ambassador of the world’s first destination loyalty program, the Maldives Border Miles, in September this year. Upon his arrival in the Maldives, he was welcomed by senior officials from Maldives Immigration, Maldives Airports Company Limited and the Tourism Ministry.
As an Ambassador, Jose will be collaborating with Maldives Border Miles team to promote it across the globe. During his current visit to the Maldives, he will be taking part in some promotional activities.
The border miles program rewards visitors to the Maldives with points for each visit. The three-tiered nationwide loyalty program is defined by a set variety of rewards, services or benefits, which increases in value as members progress.
