Maldives Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) Friday held a ceremony to launch the water supply and sewerage facilities project in R. Fainu.
The project was launched by Chairman of MWSC Ahmed Mausoom, Managing Director Hassan Shah, and Inguraidhoo MP Hassan Ahmed.
MWSC said the equipment and material required for the project had been delivered to Fainu. While sewerage pipe laying for the sewerage project is ongoing, 60 percent of the construction of the building in which the water plants will be installed has been completed.
The value of the project is MVR 3.3 million.
