Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has removed Gordon Andrew Stewart from the position of the company's Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director.
Gordon was appointed to the position on June 28, 2020. MACL said he was relieved from the position as per the instructions received from the Privatization and Corporatization Board.
Gordon is a British national with over 30 years of international management experiences in Aviation and Transport industry across Europ, MENA, Asia and North America, including 20 years at Executive and Board Level. MACL did not specify why the Privatization Board sought his removal as CEO.
